Life can sometimes feel overwhelming.
We face pressure at work Psalm 136 repeatedly reminds us of one simple truth: “His love endures forever.” Our circumstances may change,
people may disappoint us, and plans
may not work out as we hoped, but
God’s love remains constant. Hosea reminds us that even when
God’s people had wandered away, He
did not abandon them. He promised to
draw them back and speak tenderly to them. Sometimes our own difficult
seasons can feel like a wilderness, but
even there, God is present and
working. In Acts 20, Paul knows that difficult
times are ahead. Yet he continues
faithfully because he knows that his life belongs to God. He does not pretend
the road will be easy; he simply trusts
God enough to keep walking. We can do the same. There are many things in life we cannot control. We cannot change yesterday, control other people’s actions, or know exactly what tomorrow will bring. But
we can choose where we place our
trust. So, if life feels difficult today, don’t try to solve everything at once. Take the next step. Pray about what
you cannot control. Be faithful with
what God has placed in front of you
today. Remember that God was faithful
yesterday, He is faithful today, and He
will still be faithful tomorrow. The road may be difficult, but you do
not walk it alone. Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You that Your love endures
forever.
When life feels overwhelming, remind
me that I am not alone. Help me to
place my worries, fears and
uncertainties into Your hands.
Give me strength when I am tired,
wisdom when I am uncertain, and
courage for the road ahead.
Help me to focus on today and trust You with tomorrow.
Thank You for carrying me through
difficult times before. Help me to trust
You again today.
Whatever tomorrow brings, remind me
that Your love never fails and Your presence never leaves me.
